Definately. This sounds great, and I think just what we all had in mind. It also sounds like Barry can relate very well with us, and that he understands how we must all feel. He sounds like a very good guy!!

Ditto on the Barry issue, Coop...Some kind of Cool Dude he must be!....it will be nice to meet him, and in particular it will also be comforting to hear words of faith about our shipmates that are gone, but whom we have not forgotten...maybe the chaplain can also remember those of our crew, and their family members who would have liked to be there, but could not attend... I hope this all comes together...I'm taking a cam-corder and a boom-box...Sal

I think that in addition what Barry had in mind is to include some words for the Ship it's self. Last rites if you will. I would encourage Jim to have Barry contact the chaplin and see what he can arrange. Not to make it a publicity issue but a little of that on the ol public tv would go a long way.

Sounds like we want to invlove the chaplin, as Barry suggested, so we need to pick a day and time. How about 11:00 AM on Sat, or, when ever close to that the chaplin can make it?
Let me know, and I'll e-mail Barry.

Jim

Jim,
I think that 1100 would be great. I believe that everyone who is coming will be there.

1100 hours sounds good to me...I will bring the emergency ceremony along in case we cannot connect with the Chaplain
