My sympathies to you and family. Those of us that have been thru the death of a parent can understand to a degree how you feel, those that haven't, can surely imagine the loss and sadness. My prayers are with you.

Got a phone call from Barry, said someone had mentioned some kind of memorial service on the fantail. He said there is a seamans center there, with a chaplain. Wanted to know if we would like to do it up right, and get the chaplain to say a few words. Wants to get a time, etc. and see if we can set this up. He feels like for the men-of-war especially, there should be some kind of requiem service before they are disposed of.
