Well, as Horace is so in defense of the knockers downers of the bridge as to use caps to "yell" it at us, it just seems that if the lights were out, that would be all the more reason for the safety monitor channel pilot, as well as the master of the tug would have hove to until they were able to make a safe passage. Once again, profits in money are proven to be more important than human life.

Horace, thanks for the article. With the World Trade Center, this hardly made the news at all. Judy and I called Barry in Brownsville. We left a message on his answering machine that we were thinking about him and asked him to e-mail us that they are ok. What can I say, I had a Jewish mother!!!

We hadn't heard from him yet, but by that article I suppose they are ok.

God Bless America!!!

Hey gents, I was looking over the article that Premo was kind enough to send relating to the Isabella Bridge Incident and noticed that one of the victim's name was Hector Martinez, age 32. Though the location, first name, and approximate age, matches up with our Cochrane tour guide (Don Reed snapped a picture of him), it would be too sadly ironic for this to be the same person. Anybody catch Hector the tour guide's last name? He has a name patch on Don Reed's photo, but I can't make it out. Best regards Shipmates!!!
