Wow, Just read about Jack Taylor. Where did the time go? I wouldn't trade my years on DDG-21 for anything! Now we're all getting old and I can look back at some of the most interesting years of my life, and they were on board Cochrane. I was looking up members of my dads outfit, the 49th fighter squadron, and the last of the pilots have died. Now it's all history. We will soon be in the same history book. We all played a small part in a lost cause, but we didn't lose it, the pols did. The comradary will last forever. That is a battle won.
