Was just wondering if anybody had any updated reunion and Cochrane Association information. All the posts concerning this information is a little outdated and for most of us this site is the only source of Cochrane information we have. Would greatly appreciate any input on these subjects. Recently in contact with some shipmates during my tour(1977-1979), and most of them were not even aware that a reunion was being planned or that an association was being formed. Also if anyone
knows where I can find information on ship's roster for specific yrs. to assist me with locating old shipmates. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I think Steve Comacho was in charge of the reunion plans and he has been deployed to the war. Don't know if he had an assistant.

Thanks Coop for that bit of info about Steve being deployed. Went through the same thing 11 yrs. ago when Saddam pulled his crap with us. Sometimes not enough time to take care of those small details before leaving. Let's just pray for Steve and all the other men and women putting their lives on the line everyday,to continue the freedoms that we all enjoy.

Yeah we lost our reunion coordinator to the war effort and our association president had to step out of the picture for a little while for other reasons. Hope we can get back on track soon. It is almost 2002...

Sure would be nice if we could set a reunion date ASAP. The airline tickets are at an all time low and ain't no way I'm gonna drive 3,500 miles....just a thought

Dave I got an email from Ken a couple of weeks ago. He said that he would be taking over the reunion effort when he got back in town. Hopefully that will be soon.
