I want to let you guys know about something that I think might interest you. My wife and I were attacking some rooms that had years of stuff in it since we are hoping to sell out house in the near future. I came across a reply which I had received to a letter I wrote in 1987 to help my curiosity as to the whereabouts of the Cochrane at the time. He wrote a very nice letter, and it was apparent that he had the same love of the ship that the rest of us feel. I have asked John if I might post it somewhere in this site. Did any of you know IC1 Rodeback? The letter he wrote was dated May 22, 1987.
If Mr. Rodeback is reading this site, how about e-mailing me. Your response and the patch and hat you sent to me were very meaningful to me, and they still are. I want to thank you again. If he is not reading this but any of you might know where he is, how about sharing my e-mail address with him. If there is any way to post his reply, I think it would be a good thing to add to the ship's history.
