Does anyone remember some of us started a motorcycle club called the Tumbleweeds? This was shortly after we came back from the 65 cruise. Our club got with the base safety officer and set up certain rules to allow larger bikes on the base. Apparently during WW2 there was a nasty wreck involving several large bikes. From that time on bikes over 16o cc were not allowed on base. Our motorcycle club got that ban lifted. We were not very organized and kind of lost interest after a few months. Does anyone remember who we all were? I can remember Marv Hanks, Mc Rory,Fred Ball, John Teed, (Rat) Raiford, Tommy Williams, Kiper and myself. Who else?

Hey Wes,
Your memory is incredible. Do you take notes to remember all the names like that?
Was there a blond guy named Johnson in there. I remember that he had a hot car.

Richard, I remember the guy now that you mention him but I can't recall if that was his name.

Richard, Me again. I think Mc Rory was the one with the hot car. He was tall and blonde.

You know what?? I think that might have been his name. His hot car would be a great collectors item now, wouldn't it?
